Almost two months after Christmas, imagine my pleasant surprise when I received two cards both on the same day from loved ones far away. One was from my sister Tina, brother-in-law Elmer and their kids Ryan and Ria. The other one was from my brother Marlon, his wife Marlene and their three pumpkins - Merryl, Loren, and Martin. I especially loved the card the kids made!
Included in the card were some photos. This one is my favorite by far! I love and miss these beautiful children! From left to right: Merryl, 11; Loren, 9; Martin, 7; and Caryl; 6. This photo was taken two years ago so they're a little bigger now. :D The littlest one is the unica hija (and only child for that matter, as of now at least) of my brother Carl and his wife Myla who are now based in NYC. I wish I can hug them all right now.Merryl is beginning to look like a young lady now and is very serious with her studies. Loren is the artistic, creative one and still quite shy. Martin is one of only two nephews and is the only one so far to carry on the Francia family name. :) I miss these lovely kids.
Since these cards came nearly two months after being sent, my sister Tina kidded me that maybe they should start sending my birthday card so I'm sure to get it by May 3!I miss you guys! Thanks for making my day. MWAH!
